Brenda Kay Griffin of New Brockton, AL passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her home.  She was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at First Baptist Church of New Brockton with Rev. Nathan Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until service time on Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 74, New Brockton AL  36351.

Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn “Gene” Griffin; parents, William and Virginia Hilyer; mother-in-law, Helen Dorr; brothers, William Lawrence Hilyer, William Edward Hilyer; sister, Gloria Denny.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Lisa Hilyer, New Brockton, AL; nieces, Pamela Hilyer, New Brockton, AL, Kelley Benway (Shawn), New Brockton, AL, Jennifer Hadwin (Ryan), Chancellor, AL, Jessica Rogers, (Jonathan), Elba, AL; great-nieces, Hailey Hadwin, Allie Benway, Alexis Benway; great-nephews, Matthew Hogan, Brody Benway, Jonathan Rogers, Jr.
