Brian Yates

Brian Yates, 46, a resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and a former resident of Dothan, passed away Sunday October 27, 2019.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Stafford officiating. The family will receive friends 10-11 am prior to the service.

Brian was born October 6, 1973 in Dothan, Alabama. Brian was known to be the life of the party. He was a huge Alabama football fan, enjoyed Marvel Movies, and was a big fan of Star Wars. He was known for his love of trying new things, being adventurous, and enjoying life. Brian also enjoyed floating down the river with his friends, cooking with his own herbs and trying new foods. Brian was employed in the hospitality industry in advertising/marketing department and was on the board of the Downtown Asheville Group.

He is survived by his parents, Beth Yates and his father Steve (Catherine) Yates; his sister, Leia Ward; his niece, Caitlynn Ward; his nephew, Logan Ward; and all his friends from Asheville, North Carolina.
