Bruce Burrell Fairchild, a resident of Enterprise, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019. He was 84.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, July 29, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12-1 pm.

Bruce Burrell Fairchild was born September 29, 1934 to George B. Fairchild and Rose Williams in Beaumont, TX. He graduated from South Park High School and went on to graduate from Lamar Tech with a degree in accounting. Mr. Fairchild served in the United States Air Force for 35 years and traveled the world. He retired as a Major and spent the last years of his life in Enterprise, Alabama.

He is survived by his three daughters, Beryl Ann Garrison, Ft. Worth, TX, Joan Knight, Dallas, TX, and Eugenia Moorman, Wills Point, TX; his 9 grandchildren; and his 8 great-great grandchildren.
