Bryant David Faulk of Dothan went home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 56 years old. Bryant had battled melanoma for 18 months.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Bay Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Green and Rev. David Anderson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. A private family interment will follow on Tuesday in the Mount Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Bryant’s honor to Love in Action International Ministries: P.O. Box 85, Dothan, AL 36302.

Bryant was born April 23, 1967 to David and Merline Faulk. He grew up in the Jones Crossroads area and graduated from Rehobeth High School in 1985. He earned an Associates Degree in electronics from Wallace College. He worked at Globe Motors for several years before opening Bryant’s Outdoor Equipment in 2000. He built his business from the ground up and took pride in the relationships he made with his customers. Bryant loved the Lord and surrendered his life to Him at an early age. He rededicated his life in 2001 and used his business to help many people. Bryant loved fishing, and enjoyed taking his boat out in the Gulf any chance he got. He also enjoyed watching Alabama football, cooking and spending time with this family and friends.

Bryant loved his family, including his wife, Mandy, and their three children. He was very close to his parents, and he saw them daily as they assisted him in his business. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him. His passing will leave a huge void in the lives of all who knew him.

Bryant was preceded in death by his sister, Becky Faulk Harrison.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 24 years, Mandy, his three children: Audrey Claire Faulk Stephens (Curt), Jared Bryant Faulk, Jacob Carlton Faulk; his parents, David and Merline Faulk; a sister, Sheila Stephens (Ronnie); father and mother in law, Carlton and Norma Ott; a sister in law, Becky Birdsong (William), brother in law, Bubba Ott (Ashton); nieces and nephews: Heather Watkins (Cliff), Joel Harrison (Nikki), Jamey Stephens (Sabrina), April Tyson (Brock), Holly Driskell (Tracy), Shelby Jones (Dustin), Bailey Birdsong, Will Birdsong, Whit Ott, Johnson Ott; and special friends, Allen and Angie Boatright.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the employees of Bryant’s Outdoor Equipment for their loyalty and support during his illness.

They would also like to thank Dr. Ryan Conner, Dr. Sri Valasareddi, and Justin Casey, CRNP for the excellent care they provided. In addition, the family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Southern Care Hospice for their compassion and care.
