Bud “Bigfoot” Johnson, 52, a resident of Abbeville, AL passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Medical Center Barbour.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be follow at Omega Holiness in Echo with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service.

Bud was born on November 21, 1962 in Dale County and was a truck driver for over 32 years. He attended Omega Holiness Church for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Stanley and Henrietta Johnson, and a brother Jim Johnson all of Dale County.

Survivors include his three sons, Ashley Johnson (Pam), Keith Johnson (Chelsea), Trevor Johnson (Kaci); one daughter, Summer Johnson (Chris); five grandchildren, Dixie, Stanley, Troy, Aiden and Caysen; three brothers and two sisters. Bud is also survived by his companion Lisa Brown.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McKee, Michael McMillon, Trevor Johnson, Chris Whiddon, Ashley Johnson, Matthew Arnette, Mack Beverett and Nathan McKee.
