Byron Howell, of the New Hope Community, passed away, Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his home.  He was 88.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 11, 2023 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Matt Simmons officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until 1:40 P.M. 

Byron was preceded in death by his parents Mitch and Nora Mae Grice Howell.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Margaret Howell, New Hope Community, AL; daughter, Felicia Howell Headrick (Mike), Sylvester, GA; granddaughter, Nikki Headrick, Sylvester, GA.
