Camille Diane Johnson Love, age 68, of Ashford, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014.


 


Born October 27, 1945 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Charles Austin and Sally Ruth Parrish Johnson. Mrs. Love loved photography, painting, doing crafts, and her flowers. She was employed by Flowers Hospital for over 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Austin Johnson, Jr.


 


Survivors include her husband, Charles S. Love; her son, Wykle Dewitt “Trip” Williams, III; her daughters, Sherry Lynn Gilley, Allison Camille Schofield (William), Mandy Love McClenny (Jerry); her grandchildren, Dwight Gilley (Roni), Malia Schofield, Brianna Wallace (Brandon), Taylor Parrish (Ethan), Tyler McClenny, Caroline McClenny, and Riley McClenny; her great-grandchildren, Clayton Parrish and Isabella Wallace; and other relatives and friends.


 


Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2 PM from the Love Hill Assembly of God Church with Reverend Marrell Turvin and Reverend Steven Peacock officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM.


 


Serving as pallbearers will be Ralph Moore, Charles Adams, Sammy Roney, Blue Deese, Dwight Gilley, and Tyler McClenny.


 


At all other times, the family will receive friends at The Old Love Home Place at 75 Sweetie Smith Road in Lovetown.


 


The family will be accepting flowers.
