Candace “Candy” Joy Daniels, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in a local hospital. She was 40.


The family will receive friends at Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 3pm until 4pm. Graveside services will follow at 4 pm in Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Sam Williams officiating and Robert Byrd directing.


Candy was born on June 23, 1977 in Dothan, Alabama and lived most of her life there. She was a 1995 graduate of Northview High School and was employed at Southeast Alabama Medical Center at the time of her death. Candy enjoyed gardening and loved babies beyond belief. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her nieces and nephews whom she adored.


Candy was preceded in death by her son, Zachary Clark.


Survivors include her husband, Marion Daniels; her parents, J.C. Clark and Elaine Clark; her step-daughter, Anecia Daniels; her brother, Jerry (Brooke) Clark; her sisters, Sherry Clark and Rhonda (David) Irvin; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earnest Daniels and Mary Daniels; several nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews including her best buddy, Eric Baker.
