Carl Casey Jr. of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021. He was 74 years young. Mr. Casey made it clear that he wanted to be with his family when that time came.
He requested and stated that he was ready to come home to be with his family. He passed away at his daughter’s home peacefully. We honored every wish he shared with his daughter, Monique Jackson.
Due to Covid there will not be a funeral at church. However, his family would like to invite all friends and family to the Graveside Service with Rev. Zachary Greenwell. The graveside service will be held at El Bethel Church in Chancellor, Alabama on Tuesday 10, 2021 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
Mr. Carl was a successful painter and believed in hard work and family. Carl was a devoted husband whom absolutely adored his wife, LuAnne Marie Casey of 36 years before she passed away. He loved his brother, one daughter, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Casey was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish. He also enjoyed playing softball in his younger years and watching Florida State Seminoles play football. All of his fishing stories told by him, and all his friends would be enough to write a book.
He is survived by his brother, Wayne Casey of Coffee Springs; one daughter, Monique Jackson of Coffee Springs; two grandchildren both of Coffee Springs, one grandson, Gage Jackson (Val Jackson), one granddaughter, Courtney Jackson (Kevin Dady); one great grandchild, Rynlee Jackson; wife, Carla Hildreth; others that played a significant role in his life were, Tim Jackson whom he trusted with his life; Scott Kyser that kept him laughing, full of jokes, conversations, and stories. He was truly loved by so many, and he never met a stranger.
In addition to his mother, Betty Merle Casey; his father, Carl Casey SR.; he was preceded in death by a sister.
