Carlene Leger of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her residence. She was 71.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Pat Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Leger was born in Dothan, Alabama on June 22, 1946 and lived there most of her life. As a child, she worked with her father on the farm. She was a homemaker and worked as a cashier at Taylor Grocery for several years until her retirement. Mrs. Leger loved to garden and enjoyed growing roses especially her favorite, the yellow rose. She was a member of Taylor Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Marvin Leger; her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Virgina Harris; her granddaughter, Gracie Harris; sisters-in-law, Louise Miller and Myrtle Leger; seven nephews; five nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews.
