OZARK…Carole Lisenby Summers, a resident of Ozark and formerly of Abbeville, died Monday, August 3, 2020, at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula. She was 67.

     Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, August 6, 2020, in the Abbeville Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Sam Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00 until 1:45 P.M. Thursday. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. Social gathering guidelines will be followed.

     Carole Summers was born and reared in Dothan and attended Dothan High School. She lived for a number of years in Abbeville before moving to Ozark 15 years ago. Carole was formerly employed with Liberty National Life Insurance Company as an insurance agent. She was of the Baptist faith. Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry P. Summers, and her father, Benny Carroll Lisenby.

     Surviving relatives include her son, Billy Ormes (Teri), Dothan; her mother, Shirley Lowman Lisenby; a sister, Bonnie Lott (Kenneth); a brother, Benny Wayne Lisenby, all of Abbeville; three grandchildren, Whitney Carmichael (Christopher), Wyatt Ormes and Tannar Ormes; two great-grandchildren, Maryn and Mason Carmichael; several nieces and nephews; and her two loving canine companions, Sophie and Sam.
