Carolee M. Coalburn, 84, a resident of Dothan passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Ms. Coalburn was born August 5, 1932 in Galveston, IN to the late Fred and Vera Goodier and lived the early part of her life there. She lived in Kokomo, IN where she was working in a carbide steel factory when she met and married Dewey Coalburn. She lived in Chipley, FL prior to moving to Dothan in the early 2000's where she attended Harvest Church. Ms. Coalburn enjoyed working in the yard gardening and spending time with her family and her canine companions, Oreo and Sugar. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dewey, and her brother, Darrell Goodier.

Survivors include her son, Rick Powell and his wife Karen Cox-Powell; her daughters, Penny Taylor and Pamela Lusher; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Gretna Torlone; several nieces and nephews.
