Carolyn D. Tucker, of Midland City, passed away Sunday April 21, 2019 at her residence. She was 59.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday May 4, 2019 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm prior. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Carolyn Tucker was born on January 20, 1960 in Talladega, Alabama. She moved to Midland City in 2005. Ms. Tucker was in the United States Army for 20 plus years and became a retired veteran. While in the army, she traveled all over the world. Ms. Tucker received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Ms. Tucker was preceded in death by her father, Roosevelt Tucker; mother Wille E. Tucker; and brothers, Lorenzo Tucker, Freddie Tucker and Roosevelt Tucker, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories by her daughter, Sherian M. (DeDe) Tucker; son, Adrian A. Tucker; grandchildren, Mikaela Adamson, Brianna Adamson and Chloe Feaster; sisters, Ton (Terence) Givens of Jacksonville, Rosetta Goggins of Anniston, AL, DeLois Richardson of Oxford; brothers, Bennie Tucker of Talladega, Clarence (CeCe) Tucker of Munford, Les Tucker of Munford and Richard Tucker of Munford; close friends Wendy (Michael) Cottrell and Jackie Nix; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
