Carolyn June Galloway Leatherwood Earle Trotter of Taylor, AL went to be with her Lord on September 19, 2013, after a short illness.


 


Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013. Flowers will be accepted.


 


Mrs. Trotter was born and raised in the Tarentum area and moved to Dothan in 1954.


She was a homemaker and mother until 1957. She ended her career and retired from Flowers Hospital Switchboard Operator, known to the Medical Field as “The Voice of Flowers Hospital.


 


She is preceded in death by her mother and father, four brothers, two husbands, Fred Leatherwood and Charlie Earle, one son, Howard Leatherwood, one grandson, Brett Sawyer, and one great-grandson, Brandon Ward.


 


She is survived by a loving husband, Eldon Trotter, two sons, Max Earle and his wife, Cathy, Gary Earle and his wife, Jeannie, one daughter, Betty Hanners, son, Cody Trotter and his wife, Ginger, daughter, Vicki Sanders and her husband, David, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


 


We would like to extend our appreciation to the Medical Center and their staff during our stay.
