Catherine “Tag” Louise (Hartley) Hogue, 96, passed away, only July 5, 2024, in Dothan.


Tag is survived by her children, Nancy Feucht, Pam McCoy, Alan Hogue (Ginger), Janis Hogue, and Mark Hogue (Stephanie); 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends dear to her heart.


Tag graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Medical Technology and was a member of Delta Gamma. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dothan and United Women in Faith. Tag was active in many organizations including PEO, DAR, and UDC. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, needlework, traveling, and genealogy. Tag leaves behind a legacy of love and faithfulness.


A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church Chapel, on Wednesday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Elizabeth Hinton officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., in the church parlor.


Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. (EST), on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Fairfax Cemetery in Valley, AL.


In lieu of flowers, Tag requested donations be made to First United Methodist Church Respite Care, 1380 W. Main Street, Dothan, AL, 36301.


The family would like to thank Westside Terrace and Gentiva Hospice for their excellent care and kindness during her time with them.
