Chad Lee Norris of Florala, AL passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was 50 years old.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Snell officiating. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Florala, AL with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Chad was born in Enterprise, AL on January 10, 1971. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working on and restoring old cars. Chad was a very talented bladesmith who could design and build any type of knife with his bare hands.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Hayward Lee Norris; grandparents, J.B. Linton, Lelon and Modean Norris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lori Norris of Florala, AL; one daughter, KodyLynn Dees (Brandon) of Samson, AL; special K-9 buddy, Monster; mother, Jean Clingan (Marvin) of Winnsboro, LA; grandmother, Fannie Linton of Samson, AL; special sister, Patsy Johnson of Kinston, AL; two step brothers, Michael Clingan (Leah) of Sikes, LA, and Kevin Clingan (Sandra) of Olla, LA; one step sister, Judi Clingan of Olla, LA; four aunts, Tressie Paul of Samson, AL, Nell Sims (James) of New Brockton, AL, Dannette Lewis of Opp, AL, and Angela Bock of Florala, AL; many special friends (too numerous to count), cousins, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Brock, Chuck Brooks, Pat Teeter, Richard Archer, Grady Fuller, Dusty Rhodes, Brandon Hudson, and James Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jason Downing, Rob Donald, Brandon Dees, Heath McLveen, Mark Cunningham, and Shawn Miller.
