Mr. Charles “Jack” Hollen passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at his residence. He was 86.



A memorial service with military honors will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 9:00 am and continuing until service time. A private interment will be at a later date at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, Alabama.



Jack was born April 4, 1938, in West Virginia to the late Harry and Madge Hollen. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Hollen. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 26 years as a helicopter pilot before his retirement. Jack was an avid outdoorsmen, and he especially enjoyed hunting.



Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Judith Hollen; children, Cathy “Cate” Hollen Wheelock and Jack Hollen (Amy); sister, Harriet “Chich” Witten (James); nephews, Steve Witten and Jeff Hollen; niece, Kelly Hollen-Celona; grandchildren, Ashley Wetz (Gary), Jacob Hollen, and Allyson Hollen; and great-grandchild, Claire Wetz.
