HEADLAND…Charles Anthony “Chuck” Lueck, of Headland, died Sunday morning, July 31, 2016, at his home. He was 71.


            In keeping with his wishes, the family requests that Chuck’s memory be honored with your kind thoughts and prayers. No services will be held. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Care, 1512 West Main Street, Dothan, Alabama 36301.


            Mr. Lueck, son of the late Filmore Franklin Lueck, Sr. and Winifred Evelyn Hall Lueck, was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He lived in Sacramento, California, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and nineteen years in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Lueck has called Headland home for the past twenty years. He was involved with the food industry for the past 15 years, including his time as Owner and Operator of El Dorado Steakhouse in Headland, with his wife, Ella, for the past ten years. Previously, he was a General Manager at Captain D’s in Dothan. Mr. Lueck also served as the President of the Headland Chamber of Commerce.


            Surviving relatives include his wife, Ella H. Lueck, Headland; two sisters, Patricia Johnson, Milwaukee, WI; Penny Bertram, Valmeyer, IL; four brothers, Filmore Lueck, Jr. (Maria) and Jeffrey Lueck, all of Sacramento, CA; Bradley Lueck, Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Rick Lueck, Milwaukee, WI.


            The family would like to express their appreciation to Covenant Care and friends of the family for their loving care and kindness during Mr. Lueck’s illness.
