Charles Arthur Free “Chick” of Geneva, AL passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at his home. He was 67.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Ronnie Baine officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Devco Baptist Church in his memory.

 Charles was born in Geneva, AL on June 22, 1957 to Mary Clyde Newsome Free and the late Arthur Free. He enjoyed fishing, drawing and anything to do with cars.

 In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Free.

 Charles is survived by three children; Amanda Williams (David) of Geneva, AL, Chris Free (Vanessa) of Black, AL and Jamie Berlin of Geneva, AL; mother, Mary Clyde Free of Geneva, AL; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, William Gerald Free (Shirley) of Cocoa, FL, Mike Free (Teresa) of Westville, FL and Albert Wayne Free (Cynthia) of Enterprise, AL; several special nieces and nephews also survive.
