Chuck loved sports. He played basketball, football, tennis and ran track and field in high school and college. He loved watching his Chicago Bears and Cubs. During the Korean War he served in the Air Force as a pilot and loved to tell stories of the crazy flying feats he and his fellow pilots would do. Chuck had a passion for work whether it be designing helicopter cockpits, flight simulators, space capsules, Indy 500 race cars or a piece of furniture. In his passion he taught all of his children an amazing worth ethic. He was talented and creative. One of his passions in retirement was working with wood and creating furniture, games, bats, and wood art that resulted in works that were unique. He loved animals, especially birds, squirrels, and his dog, Baby. He was dedicated to spiritual growth daily. He would want us to celebrate the life he had and he would want you all to be grateful that he is now at peace.
Your Thoughts and Prayers are appreciated by all of us. Rest in Peace Dad, all our love from your entire family.
