SFC (US Army, Retired) Charles Ellis Wilkinson, age 83, of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Medical Center Enterprise.


 


Funeral services with full military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 from Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.


 


Mr. Wilkinson was born November 13, 1933 in Booneville, Arkansas to the late Charlie Wilkinson and Velma Lamb.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.


 


In addition to his parents, his wife, Willaphane Wilkinson preceded him in death.


Survivors include his three daughters: Dixie Lee Hartley (Jack) of Columbus, S.C., Juanita Kay Greathouse (Joe) of Enterprise, and Sandra Tine Tindell (Richard) of Daleville; four sons: Ricky A. Wilkinson of Enterprise, Charles E. Wilkinson, Jr. of Enterprise, Tracy S. Wilkinson (Sakura) of Huntsville, and Toby J. Wilkinson (Anna) of Augusta, Georgia; twenty-one grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
