Charles Herbert Agin, age 70, passed away, Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at his home in Fort Rucker, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 26, 2013 at Main Post Chapel, Fort Rucker, AL with Chaplain Doug Shumate officiating. Burial will be at Centeral Texas State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, April 29th in Killeen, TX. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday.

Charles Herbert Agin was born, February 13, 1943 in West Monroe, LA to Raymond and Vernette Agin. He married Annette Agin, February 4, 1995 in Denton, TX.

Charles served in the U. S. Navy with the Seebee Battalion from July 1966 to July, 1968. He served two tours in Vietnam. He earned the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Fleet Marine Force Combat Operational Insignia. He worked as a diesel mechanic for over 30 years, having retired in June, 1995.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Agin.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Agin; daughter, Renee Loman (Jeff) Broken Bow, OK; son, Charles Raymond Agin, Nashville, TN; two step-sons, Brent Sikes, Krum, TX; Daniel Mills, Fort Rucker, AL; two grandsons, Mitchell and Matthew Loman, Broken Bow, OK; granddaughter, Mia Mills, Killeen, TX; two sisters, Betty Scott, West Monroe, LA; Debbie Stovall (Paul) Bedford, TX.
