GROVELAND, FLORIDA. . .Charles Kenneth “Ken” Roberson, aka “Doc”, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on May 18, 2021.


   Ken, the first born to Charles King Roberson and Bernice Baxley Roberson, was born in Alabama where he spent most of his early years. After graduating from Auburn University in 1972 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, he settled in Clermont, Florida, where he practiced large and small animal medicine for many years. After retirement, the diehard Auburn fan enjoyed spending time at his family farm in Alabama.


   He leaves behind his devoted wife of 34 years, Kay Caudle Roberson, beloved daughters, Laura Lambert (Shane) and Anna Hendley (Jay), six grandchildren, Caitlin Haynes (Sawyer), Molly Walker, Emily Walker, Blake Hendley, Charles Hendley, Cooper Lambert and one great-granddaughter, Emma Adkinson. He is also survived by brothers, Aubrey Roberson, Leonard Roberson (Lois), a sister, Alisa Danner (Riley), four nephews and four nieces. Ken was preceded in death by his parents.


   Graveside memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 5, 2021, in the Anderson Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Springs, Alabama, with Reverend Russell Hagler officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
