CHARLES THOMAS KELLEY
ABBEVILLE. . .Charles Thomas (T-Bone) Kelley, a resident of the Lawrenceville Community in Henry County, died Thursday morning, October 3, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. He was 44.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 5, 2013, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Joe Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Abbeville.
Charles Thomas Kelley, also known as “Tommy” Kelley, was a native of Dothan but lived in the Lawrenceville Community all his life. He was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. Tommy was employed by the Henry County Road & Bridge Department as a truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Cochran Kelley, his grandparents, Walter and Navell Kelley, Dewey and Pauline Cochran, and Maude Jordan and his father-in-law, Terry Skeen.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Nicole Skeen Kelley, two daughters, Taylor Kelley Bradley (Cain), and Abbey Kelley, his parents, Charles E. and Marty Kelley, all of Abbeville; a sister, Angela McBroom (Pete), Daleville; a brother, Kelly Kelley, Abbeville; his mother-in-law, Martha Skeen, a sister-in-law, Sonya Vanlandingham (Noel), several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Serving as active pallbearers will be William Trice, Brian Hughes, Pat Phillips, Kenny Paul, Duke Turner, and Andrew Roberts.
