Charlie B. Hall, a resident of  Dothan, died Tuesday March 6, 2012, at Flowers Hospital. He was 77.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Friday, March 9, 2012 from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home, with Reverend Thaxton Whiddon officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel from 10 until 11 A. M. Friday, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Mr. Hall was born May 31, 1934, in Houston County, Alabama, the son of the late William Wright Hall and Mattie (Braswell) Hall. He was a member of Selma Baptist Church, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to fish, play golf, and was an avid Alabama Football fan.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James, P.B.and David Hall, and sister, Maggie Hicks.

 

Survivors include his wife, Joanne Hall of Dothan; daughter, Mary Ellen Hall of Pensacola, FL; sons, Charles Brent Hall of Dothan; William Mark Hall of Dothan; sisters, Virgie Skipper of Dothan; Bernice Hicks and her husband, J.W. of Ashford; Dorothy Peoples of Navare, FL; Patricia Hopkins of Ashford; grandchildren, Savannah Hall, Joanne Hall, Christopher Hall, Jeremy Hall, and several nieces and nephews.

 

A special thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Flowers Hospital.
