Mr. Charlie Monroe McAdams of Petty Road, Westville, Florida passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was 40.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Danny Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Elba with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Charlie was born January 27, 1972, in Covington County, AL. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to cook on the grill. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
His father Jessie McAdams, as well as three brothers, Ricky, James “PeeWee”, and William “Cooter Bug” McAdams, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Ramona Tidwell McAdams; three children: April and Joshua Smith and Dustin Charlie McAdams, all of Geneva; his mother, Peggy Ann Willoughby, Westville; three sisters: Cindy Manning (Buddy), Linda McAdams, Geneva and Patricia Lawhorn, Ponce de Leon; four brothers: Jeff McAdams (Lomonia), Samson, Jessie “Boddie” McAdams (Patricia), Westville, David Rocky McAdams (Judy), Opp, and Cleve McAdams, Ponce de Leon; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
