Mr. Chase Aaron Mathis “Plow Boy”, age 31, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Duebelt and Rev. Jonathan Broyles officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:45 till 2:45 on Saturday. Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Mathis was born on March 13, 1993, in Dothan, Alabama, the son of Timmy Joe Mathis and Linda Dickerson Mathis. Chase worked as a general laborer in the agriculture industry.

He was preceded in death by his grand-parents Elbert Dickerson, Mary Lois Dickerson, James David Mathis, and Betty Jo Broyles.

Survivors include his parents: Timmy Joe Mathis (Deloris) of Dothan, and Linda Dickerson Mathis of Marrianna, FL. 2 brothers: Michael Mathis of Birmingham, and Andrew Padgett (Whitney) of Dothan. 2 sisters: Ceaira Hallman (Will) of Tuscaloosa, and Kathryn Berry (Dusty) of Cowarts. Former sister-in-law Wendy Mathis of Vandiver, AL. He was also survived by a special aunt Judy Stanton (Bill) of Marianna, FL and a special uncle Bob Paulk of Dothan.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Travis Tice, Hal Ferguson, Michael Earnhardt, Dusty Berry, Andrew Padgett, and Cliff Lane.
