John Christopher Williams, 43, a resident of Dothan passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at a local hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Chris was born December 10, 1972 in Houston County and resided in the Rehobeth area all of his life. He was a 1991 graduate of Rehobeth High School and farmed with Johnny Hardy for several years until his recent illness. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, John D. Williams, his grandmother, Juanita McMullan, and a nephew, Chad White.

Survivors include his mother, Maarba Williams; his brother, John Randy (Lisa) Williams; his sisters, Viki Dupree and Carol (John) Starnes; nieces and nephews, Brandon Armstrong, Ashley Armstrong, Hunter Williams, Kristi Williams, Brandy Brackin, Ashley Brackin Silvey, Randall Gilley, and Candice Gilley Bunch.
