OZARK…. Chrissie Sigers Giles, a resident of Ozark, died early Sunday morning, February 9, 2020 in the emergency room of Dale Medical Center. She was 58.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andy Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Center Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, between Ozark and Ariton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Amanda, 298 Northwood Dr., Ozark.
Flowers will be accepted.
Chrissie was a native of Ozark having attended Ozark City Schools. She was employed with Logan’s Dry Cleaners in Ozark for the past twenty-five years. Chrissie was a member of Glory to Him Fellowship Church in Ozark. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sigers; sister-in-law, Terri Sigers; brother-in-law, James E. Cooper and longtime companion, Larry Christian.
Surviving relatives include two daughters, Amanda Tolison (Alan), Ozark and Jennifer Barfield (Michael), Dothan; her mother, Betty Sanders Kohler (Richard), Ozark; three sisters, Teresa Pierce (Ray), Birmingham; Ruby Russell (Mark), Dothan and Denise Adkinson (Dwayne), Montgomery; two brothers, Danny Sigers (Debbie), Rocky Head Community and Mack Sigers, Ariton; six grandchildren, Oscar Dunn, Sara Dunn, Aidan Tolison, Annah Barfield, Addison Barfield, and Brayden Barfield; three special grandchildren; three half-sisters, Dovie Sigers, Ellerslie, GA, Melissa Sigers, Florida and Paula Carr, Columbus, GA; two half-brothers, Chuckie Sigers, Columbus, GA and Jason Sigers, Phenix City, AL.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Oscar Dunn, Alan Tolison, Michael Barfield, Ronnie Giles, Keith Albritton, Aidan Tolison and Anthony Sigers.
