Christine Hall Hard, 85, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her three sons.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Cottonwood City Cemetery with Brother Richard Smith officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday prior to service time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P O Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.

Mrs. Hard was born November 21, 1935 in Cottonwood, Alabama to Olin Chester and Leola Whitehead Hall and was a lifelong resident of Cottonwood. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cottonwood.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Raymond Hard, two sisters, Doris Sellers and Blonnie Kindon and a brother, Grady Hall.

She is survived by three sons, Gary W. Hard of Pensacola, FL, Edwin Hard of Hurley, MS and Steve A. Hard of Cottonwood, AL; three grandchildren, Shane Hard (Stephanie) of Gautier, MS, Jeremy Hard of Biloxi, MS and Hank Hard of Milton, FL; a great-grandchild, Anders Austin Hard of Gautier, MS; two step-grandchildren, Shelby Robertson and Ryan Robertson, both of Houston, TX; a sister-in-law, Pauline Elizabeth Dazey of Milton, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be sons, grandsons and a great-grandson.
