Christopher “Chris” Clayton Alderman, a resident of Midland City, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. He was 20 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Chris was born September 25, 1996 in Dale County and has resided in the Midland City and Pinckard area all his life. He was a 2016 graduate of Dale County High School. He loved his family and enjoyed off-roading, smoking cigars, hunting, and skateboarding. Chris was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnnie B. Proctor, his uncle, Jimmy Proctor, and his great-grandparents, Leon Gillespie, J.C. Senn, and Annie Bell Senn.

Survivors include his son, Bentley Sterling Alderman; mother, Crystal Lea (Johnnie) Proctor; father, Kyle Alderman; sisters, Raven Senn and Harley Proctor; brother, Skyler Proctor; grandparents, Coy Senn, Sheila Senn, Amanda Covington, Craig Alderman and Donna Gendron; great-grandmother, Juanita Gillespie; aunts, Angela (Jerry) Whitehead, Shannon (Kenneth, Jr.) Metz, and Susan Proctor; nephews, Paxton Allen and Jaxon Senn; cousins, Lilly Metz, Kennon Metz, Ashley Proctor, Kayla Proctor, Chris Proctor, Cody Whitehead, Sabrina Proctor, and Dashawna Proctor.
