Christopher Drew Owens passed away January 27, 2017 at the age of 35. Drew loved family, friends, anything outdoors, animals, music and all things Roll Tide.
A Memorial service has been planned for Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home, visitation will be held one hour before the service. Reverend Dr. Anna Crews Camphouse and Reverend Jake Brady will be officiating the Memorial service with Warren Holloway Ward funeral home directing.
Drew was born in Dothan, Al on July 15, 1981. At a young age he developed a love of the outdoors and all animals. He was self-taught on the guitar and became an accomplished musician, developing a love of music, especially Bluegrass. Drew graduated from Geneva High School in 1999. He resided in the Santa Rosa Beach, FL area where he worked in the food service industry as a sous chef before returning to Geneva, AL in 2012.

Drew was proceeded in death by step-father, John Knowles, maternal grandparents C.C. and Evelyn Cotter, paternal grandfather Malcolm Owens, cousin, Christy Wilkerson Capps, Aunt, Audrey Anderson, Uncle, Kermit and Aunt Mary Cotter.
Drew is survived by his son Dylan Cunard and Dylan's mother Danielle Cunard of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Mother; Ann Cotter Knowles, Geneva, AL., Father; Frankie (Vicki) Owens, Freeport, Fl. Grandmother; Bernell Hines Owens, Bonifay, Fl., step-sisters; Beth Knowles Brinley (Chuck), Kris Knowles Patterson (Clay), Tupelo, MS. Aunts; Brenda Owens Wilkerson ( Ronnie) Bonifay, Fl, Myrtle Day, Geneva, Al, Uncle; Kevin Owens (Jewellyn) Bonifay, FL, Cousins; Kermit G. Cotter (Nancy) Talladega, Chris Cotter (Stefanie) & Gracie Cotter, Hoover, AL, Jonathan, Kyle, Noah, Kira and Kaiya Owens all of Bonifay, Fl , nieces; Ashton Brinley, Geneva, Kaci Crawford, Oxford, MS, Kara Crawford, Tuscaloosa, AL, nephews; Chip and Chase Patterson, Tupelo, MS.
