Christopher Keith Daniels

Christopher Keith Daniels, a resident of Slocomb, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at a local hospital lovingly surrounded by his family. He was 38.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Christopher was born on July 8, 1984 in Houston County, Alabama and lived here the early years of his life. He was a 2002 graduate of Rehobeth High School. After high school he joined the Army and did three tours in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor. Christopher proudly served his country for 14 years until his medical retirement in 2016. He had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles and loved working on them. Christopher was a gun enthusiast who enjoyed shooting. He was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father, Keith (Tammy) Daniels; his grandmother, Linda Daniels; his daughters, Kylee Daniels and Emily Butler; his step-brother, Justin Casey; his aunt, Kathleen Daniels; his uncle, Tony (Beverly) Daniels; his great-aunts, Martha Hall and Mary Thomas; his great-uncle, Danny Joe Hall; and several cousins.
