COLUMBIA. . .Christopher Linn Jones, a resident of Columbia, died Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his home. He was 49.

There are no funeral or memorial services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

Chris Jones was a native of Pansey and was reared in Gordon. He lived in Webb before moving to Columbia in 2021. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Michael James Jones, Sr.

Surviving relatives include two daughters, Kayla Jones and Tristin Jones, both of Enterprise; a son, Andrew Jones; his mother, Gloria Smith Bowen and step-father, Chris Bowen, Columbia; a brother, Michael James Jones, Jr. Webb, AL; seven grandchildren.
