Chuck Knight, a resident of Ashford, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his residence. He was 87.
Memorial services will be held at a date and time to be announced.
Mr. Knight was born October 2, 1934 in Dothan to Eck and Merle Knight and lived most of his life in Houston county. He served in the National Guard as a master sergeant. He was employed as a painter all of his working career. Mr. Knight enjoyed fishing and gardening and loved dancing at the VFW Club. He was an avid Alabama fan.

He is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Arlene Thompson, two brothers, Buddy Knight and Billy Knight, a grandson, Jared Tyler Draughon and son-in-law, Pee-Wee Gilbert Hughes.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Draughon (Timmy) of Rehobeth and Lori Hughes of Ashford; two granddaughters, Bonnie Gomez (Obed) and Jordan Draughon (Robert Farmer); several nieces and nephews; a special friends, Joyce and Tim Skipper.
