Clady McGhee

Clady McGhee, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her home. She was 100.

Memorial services will be held 12 noon Saturday, March 17, 2012 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Cottonwood Road with Brother Keith Newby officiating and Byrd Funeal Home on West Main Street directing. The family will receive friends following the memorial services.

Mrs. McGhee was born October 24, 1911 in Houston County, the daughter of the late Wesley and Minnie Register. She was a loving homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking and sewing. She dedicated her life to Jehovah many years ago and attended the South Park Congregation.

Mrs. McGhee is preceded in death by a son, Willie Register, a daughter, Mittie Smith and a son, James McGhee.

She leaves to cherish her memory 7 children, Beatrice Davis, Mary McCree, Minnie Johnson, Sarah Gilford, William McGhee, Willie Frank McGhee and Ira Dawsey.
