Born on January 10, 2000, in the peaceful town of Ozark, Alabama, Clara's journey was one marked by joy, creativity, and an unwavering faith. Her life, though too short, was lived with a fullness that touched many hearts. On April 29, 2024, Clara passed away in Midland City, Alabama, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and inspiration.

Clara was the embodiment of love in action. From her early days, being homeschooled in the warmth of her family's home, she developed a servant's heart, always seeking ways to uplift others. She exhibited this at her places of employment as they were always more than just a job; they were extensions of her desire to serve, to share a smile, and to make every encounter meaningful. Clara's spirit of generosity extended far beyond her professional life, as she poured herself into her community and the lives of those around her.

A member of the English Writer’s Society, the poems and letters she penned to friends and family were treasures, each word carefully chosen to convey love, encouragement, and hope. She believed in the power of fresh air and the healing it could bring to the soul. Clara never met a stranger; to her, every person was a story, a friend waiting to be discovered. She had the unique ability to make you feel important, seen, and valued.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Clara was an active and cherished member of her church family at Westwood Presbyterian Church, where she shared her musical gifts by playing the piano and singing in the choir. Her warm and positive presence was a testament to her faith-filled life, one that inspired others to embrace their own spiritual journeys with enthusiasm and grace.

Clara's love for coffee and chocolate was well-known—a small, delightful part of who she was. These simple joys were but a few of the many threads that wove the tapestry of her life, a life marked by the loving relationships she nurtured with her beloved husband, Tyler Daniel, her devoted father, Brian McCready, her siblings, Anne (Alex) Ortiz, James McCready, Maggie (Jacob) Nowak, Jonathan McCready, Aaron McCready, Robert McCready, and Gracie McCready; her in-laws; several nieces and nephews, and extended family. Though her mother, April McCready, preceded her in death, the bond of love they shared continues to resonate in the family's memories.

She loved adventures; whether living life on the edge by driving around on an empty tank of gas or abruptly stopping on the side of the road to take a picture of wildflowers growing freely-even going as far as walking through fields of flowers if she saw them. She was a free spirit who loved hard and cared deeply. Clara embraced life’s adventure with every fiber of her being, daring to love, to create, and to believe with a smile that was infectious and a courage that was contagious.
