MIDLAND CITY. . .Clark Allen Etheredge, a resident of Dale County, between Midland City and the Echo Community, died early Sunday morning, February 25, 2024, in the emergency room of the Dale Medical Center. He was 83.
There are no memorial or funeral services planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord Baptist Church, c/o Janara Parrish, 1350 County Road 14, Newville, AL 36353.
Mr. Etheredge was born and reared in Houston County, near Ashford, son of the late Lloyd D. Etheredge and Iola Osteen Etheredge. He lived most of his adult lifetime in Dothan before moving to his home near Echo in 1991. Mr. Etheredge was member of the Concord Baptist Church and was a former member of Heritage Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was retired from Herndon Electric Co. in Dothan as an Electrical Foreman. Mr. Etheredge was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Branch.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Charlene Morrison Etheredge, two daughters, Kecia Pearcy, Dothan; and Kayla Etheredge (Virginia Boyle), Orange, VA; two sisters, Ann Copeland, Ashford; and Jean Blackmon, Dothan; a brother, Ronnie Etheredge (Frances), Leesburg, FL; three grandchildren, Kyle Pearcy, Josie Boyle and Clay Boyle, several nieces and nephews.
