ABBEVILLE. . .Clifford Keith Money, a resident of Abbeville, went to be with his Lord and Savior early Thursday morning, March 11, 2021, at his home. He was 67.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday (CST) in the Old Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor James Grier officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Keith Money was born in Ft. Gaines, Georgia and was raised in Henry County, Alabama and Riverdale, Georgia. He lived in Riverdale before moving to Abbeville in 1986. Keith was a member of the Pine Mountain Holiness Church in Meansville, GA; He was a member of the Masonic Order in Morrow, GA. Keith was formerly employed by Ben Baker Flooring in Ozark and Carpetland in Dothan. In earlier years, he worked for Harvey Greer Floor Covering in Dothan. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Money, Jr. and Erma Buxton Money Yommer, and a brother, Buddy Money.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Karen Marlow Money; two daughters, Deborah Slater, Valdosta, GA; and Sonya Moore (David), Dothan; a son, James Mathew Money, Abbeville; two sisters, Joy Wisener and Gail Messer (Jerry), all of Milner, GA; fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Marlow family, Danny Marlow, Greg and Donna Marlow and Patricia and Ricky Hinton; several nieces and nephews who Keith dearly loved and also several cousins; special friends that Keith thought of as his children, Thenia Jackson and Terra Stafford.
