Colleen A. Logan, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at a local hospital.


Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home with Dr. Johnny Fain officiating.


Mrs. Logan was born May 18, 1925 in Dale County and lived the early part of her life in Ariton, AL. She graduated from Ariton High School and received a business degree from Massey Business College in Jacksonville, FL. She was employed with Civil Service and Veterans Administration as a stenographer for several years during WWII until the mid-1950’s. She also worked with First Baptist Church in Dothan with the Mom’s Day Out program and nursery until she retired in 1994. Mrs. Logan was a member of First Baptist Church of Dothan where she was active with her Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband James Logan.


Survivors include her daughter, Connie Logan Fuhr; grandchildren, Joey Fuhr and Mark (Alexis) Fuhr; great-grandchildren, Peyton Fuhr, Paisley Fuhr, and Makenzie Fuhr; several nieces and nephews; her forever feline companion, Boots.
