PINCKARD… Ms. Connie Jean King, a resident of Pinckard, died late Wednesday evening, March 31, 2021 at her home. She was 58.


            A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark.


            Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.


            Ms. King, daughter of the late Joe Frank King and Agnes Lorene Pitts, was a native of Pinckard. She was a graduate of Wicksburg High School and attended Riley Business College in Dothan. Ms. King was an avid reader, enjoyed writing poetry, and always enjoyed being outside working in the yards. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Linda Mauldin, and a brother, Ricky Joe King.


            Surviving relatives include her daughter, Jordan Chumney (Nick), Rehobeth; two sisters, Ninna Carol Sellers, Wicksburg and Cathy Lynn Taylor (Jerry), Newton; a brother, Samuel John King, Pinckard; three grandchildren, John Carter Chumney, Kingston Chumney, and Kennedy Chumney; nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
