Courtney Warren Scarbrough, 36 of Newton passed away Saturday July 14, 2018 at her residence after a long disability with seizures.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church Chapel with Rev. Rob Oates officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Courtney was born April 15, 1982 in Houston County and graduated from Oakwood High School in Montgomery, AL. She resided in Montgomery until moving back to Dothan in 2004. Courtney was a homemaker and loved her family especially spending time with her children. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Trent Scarbrough; her daughter, Lexan Yost; her companion of 11 years, Brandon Yost; her mother, Ruthi (Rex) Penuel; her brothers, Michael (Jennifer) Warren, Ryan (Angela) Warren and W.D. Warren; several nieces and nephews.

Courtney was preceded in death by her father, Mike Warren and her husband, Brandon Scarbrough.
