CSM Harold F. Watts, Jr. (US Army Ret.), passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017. He was 87.


Graveside services with full military honors will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.


CSM Watts was born in French Lick, Indiana and joined the US Army at an early age. He was a dedicated husband and father. He was vibrant and full of life. CSM Watts was a world traveler and his mantra was “I want to live to be 100 and then I want to decide what to do with the rest of my life.” He was very adventurous, he was a sky diver, drove NASCAR at Talladega, zip lined, and liked to white water raft, all after the age of 80.


CSM Watts was preceded in death by his first wife, Tessie R. Watts and his second wife, Maria K. Watts.


Survivors include his children, Tammy Katharina (Mark) Nelson, Harold Franklin (Terri) Watts, III, and Timothy Joe (Alyce) Watts; his grandchildren, Scott Nelson, Kathryn Nelson, Tucker Watts, Daniel Watts, Josh Watts, and Jessica Bock; and his favorite niece, Kathi (Kim) Cummins.
