A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm at West Highland Assembly of God Church in Andalusia, Alabama. Military Honors will follow at the church. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.

CSM (RET) Raymond Henry “Ray” Sebastian, a resident of Opp, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 in William F. Green Veteran’s Home in Bay Minette, Alabama. He was 88.

Ray was born on August 2, 1933 in New York. He joined the US Army and served 30 years. Ray served overseas in the Korean War and was a POW, he served in a MASH unit in Vietnam and also, served in Desert Storm. Ray was the first person to open a post exchange in 1999 in Desert Storm. Ray loved to travel and photography.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Renate Sebastian; and his daughter, Sandra Kadrle.
Survivors include his daughter, Claudia (David) Couch; and his brother, Marvin Livingston.
