John Daniel "Dan" Walton, 60, a resident of Enterprise passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be held 4 pm Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Austin Phillips officiating. Military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Walton was born January 2, 1955 in Ft. Dix, New Jersey and spent the early part of his life in Baltimore and the Panama Canal Zone. He has resided in Enterprise for the past 15 years. He was employed in the Automotive Repair business for most of his working career and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served for 3 years. He was a member of the VFW in Enterprise. Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his father Frederick Walton.

Survivors include his mother Wilma Walton; brothers, William (Lamoon) Walton and Frederick (Paula) Walton; a niece Meena Walton.
