Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Park chapel with Bro. Dewayne Watson and Bro. Jared Stanley officiating and his granddaughter, Taressa, delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ozark. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until service time. Following the graveside service, family will have a reception at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church, 1603 Napier Field Rd, Midland City, AL 36350.

Daniel Edward Tomlin, a resident of Headland, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his residence. He was 67.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Sunset Memorial Park chapel with Bro. Dewayne Watson and Bro. Jared Stanley officiating and his granddaughter, Taressa, delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ozark. Danny was born on March 5, 1955 in Phoenix City, Alabama to the late Samuel Jessie and Sarah Dean Tomlin. He was an exceptional football player in his youth and played at several different high schools before graduating from Abbeville Christian Academy. Danny worked for US Food Service as a shuttle driver. He was also a dedicated volunteer for the Houston County Rescue Unit Dive team. In his free time, Danny enjoyed wood working, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers. When Danny was able, he enjoyed attending church with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Lindra Tomlin; his daughter, Catrina Adkinson (Dave McCroan); his grandchildren, Taressa Trammell and Megan McCroan; his siblings, David (Theresa) Tomlin, Shirley Tomlin and Denise (Brenton) Vedder; several nieces and nephews; and his special K-9 companion, Harley.
Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Leach, Garrett Leach, Jason Tomlin, Matthew Buie, Brenton Vedder and Shaun Smith. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kindred Hospice for all the love and care you provided for Danny.
