Daniel Andrew "Termite" Smith, 31, a resident of Cowarts, AL passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Wilmore officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Termite was born November 15, 1983 in Dothan and lived in the Wiregrass area all of his life. He owned and operated Termites Automotive in Webb for several years prior to working with Davis Oil Company for the past year. He also loved working with Straight-Line Parking for special events. He loved working with his horses, fishing, shooting pool, working on his tractor, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was an active member of the Gordon Volunteer fire Department.

Survivors include his mother, Cheryl (Jeff) Harry; his brother, William Smith, Jr.; his sisters, Clarissa Howard and Alana Goins; nieces and nephews, Jorja Howard, Christin Howard, Trenton Howard, Zay Smith, Haleigh Goins, Logan Goins, and Cheyenne Goins; a great-niece Journey Faye.
