Danny Rabon, a lifelong resident of Webb, AL, 58, departed from his family to soon following an unexpected heart attack on February 15, 2024.
In true ‘Danny’ fashion, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service with a potluck will be held in his memory at Omussee Creek Park in Columbia, AL on Sunday, February 18 at 2 pm with his nephew, Alex Alday officiating. Friends are welcome to pay his family your condolences and bring a covered dish if you would like.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife Vicki Rabon, daughter Kimberly Rabon, father, Evertt Rabon, mother, Hilda Harper Rabon, sisters, Nona Rabon, Patti Alday, and brother Ted Rabon.
He is survived by his three daughters, April Walker (Chris Peair) of Dothan, AL; Christina Temples of Rehobeth, AL; and April Nichole Senn (Chris Senn) of Webb, AL. as well as proudly leaving behind a legacy of nine granddaughters, Kimberly & Rosalee Walker, Laniah Temples, Karmela Reese, Madison & Emma Gentry, Chyenne Reese, Bailey & Addy Senn, and five grandsons, Wesley Gentry, Dakota Dupriest, Cason Senn, Keyton Senn, Tyler Temples.
Additionally, numerous nieces, nephews, bonus children, and special family friends, the Taylors.
In his earlier years, Danny was a skilled Plaster & Stucco foreman and later would devote more than 15 years as a Groundskeeper at Troy University of Dothan. Danny was a creative soul who had a passion for music and more than anything he loved his family to no ends. His love for music led him to become a self-taught guitarist. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, such as creating the best memories with his grandchildren, strumming tunes on his guitar beside a campfire, enjoying a cold beer with friends, and sharing summers camping by the river.
While we grieve the loss of such an amazing individual, Danny’s memory will forever echo in the hearts he touched. May he find eternal peace, embraced by the harmonies of the heavens.
