KINSEY. . . Danny Gordan Tye, Jr., a resident of Kinsey, died early Saturday morning, April 18, 2020. He was 60.

    Due to the COVID-19 Virus, a family graveside will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22, 2020, in the Shorterville Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Johnny Suggs officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

    Danny Tye was born in Chattahoochee, Florida and was reared in Shorterville for most of his childhood by his loving Uncle and Aunt, Charlie and Doris Clark. He lived in Dothan for many years before moving to Kinsey. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Dan Gordan Tye, Sr. and Annie Jo Money Baldwin. and a brother, William H. Tye.

    Surviving relatives include a sister, Mary Tye Suggs (Ed), Kinsey and Delores Tye, Dothan; his fiance’, Millie Roberts; nieces, Debra Monday (Matthew), Kelli Tye-Carpenter (Nick) and Brooke Tye; nephews, Jason McSwain (Melissa) and Marcus Tye; three great nieces and two great-nephews.
