DOTHAN. . .Danny James Wilson, a resident of Dothan, died late Friday morning, October 18, 2024, in a Dothan hospital. He was 59.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with a eulogy to be given by a daughter, Tabitha Millering Boyett. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary in Headland.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1231 Fortner Street, Dothan, AL 36301.

            Danny Wilson was born and reared in Dothan and lived in Columbia before returning to Dothan in 2013. He was retired, due to disability, from Circle City Transport Corp. as a truck driver. In earlier years, Danny was employed by Buster’s IGA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Lanton Wilson, his father, James Buster Wilson, who passed away October 14, 2024, a granddaughter, Kristyn Rae Templeton and a brother, Tim Wilson.

            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Sara Wilson Griffin and Tabitha Millering Boyett (Vance), all of Dothan; grandchildren, Zachary Boyett, Alyssa Templeton, Alec Templeton, Ashton Templeton and Brad Ward; special friends, Melissa and Robert Ard and Mike and Donna Pascal; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
